Birth is wild. It’s raw, intense, beautiful, messy—and sometimes scary. As your doula, I am here to walk with you through all of it. With over 800 births supported, I specialize in hospital births and bring a grounded, experienced presence to one of the most transformative moments of your life.
I work alongside Cape Town’s top obstetricians and midwives across the Mediclinic, Life Hospital, and Netcare groups, maintaining respectful, collaborative relationships that prioritize your safety and care. My approach is rooted in a deep respect for the medical system, while also advocating for the physiological processes of labour wherever possible. I believe birth can be both medically supported and deeply personal.
I bring a biomechanical lens to pregnancy and labour, utilizing movement and positioning as pain relief. I also help manage expectations every step of the way, always following a thoughtful hierarchy of pain relief options tailored to your needs and goals.
I am also the founder of Birthroom Basics, a light-hearted, honest, and practical workshop for expectant couples. My aim is to help you feel calm, informed, and confident as you prepare to meet your baby. I teach from real experience in hospital birth rooms, blending simple physiology with open conversations about what to expect—and how to handle the unexpected—with your partner right there beside you. I believe birth can be a beautiful, bonding experience, especially when you feel supported and prepared. My workshop is full of laughter, straight talk, and real tools you can use. Outside of birth work, I’m happiest in nature—swimming, exploring, taking close-up photos of wild things—and I bring that same curiosity and joy into how I teach and support others.
