Calm, continuous support from pregnancy through birth and into early postpartum.
A grounded, supportive approach that helps you feel informed, held, and confident throughout your journey. From early questions in pregnancy through labour and the first weeks with your baby, support is shaped around your needs, your preferences, and your birth environment.
This support is especially helpful for first time parents, VBAC journeys, and those wanting a more supported second or third birth experience.
Nicolette has worked with most caregivers and in most hospitals around Cape Town, enabling her to offer informed guidance and valuable insight to the couples she supports.
Wondering what happens when you reach out?
It is simple, clear, and pressure-free.
First, you will be asked for a few basic details such as your estimated due date, hospital, and care provider so that availability can be confirmed.
You will then receive a detailed information email outlining services, structure, and pricing.
After that, you are invited to a free consultation or a meet-and-greet. This is a relaxed conversation where you can ask questions and see if the approach feels right for you, with no obligation.

A 4-hour practical and conversational workshop designed to prepare parents with clear, realistic guidance and useful tools for birth. Ideally attended before 36 weeks of pregnancy, it helps couples feel informed, calm, and confident.

A one-on-one session with both parents to personalise preparation and apply what was learned in the workshop to your individual situation. This includes discussion around your caregiver, hospital setting, preferences, and any specific considerations for your birth.

Continuous access to guidance and reassurance throughout pregnancy.
Questions, check-ins, and moments of uncertainty are all supported as things naturally evolve.

Support begins when labour starts. Early guidance is provided via WhatsApp to help you stay calm, understand what is unfolding, and decide when to go to hospital based on your previous discussions and preferences.

After your baby is born, there is one more gentle step in the journey.
A post-birth meeting usually takes place within the first two weeks, most often in the comfort of your home, although sometimes in hospital if needed. This time is guided by what each family needs. For some, it becomes a birth debrief where both parents can reflect, ask questions, and process the experience. For others, it is a more relaxed check-in, simply sharing the birth story and settling into early postpartum life.
Basic breastfeeding support can be offered during this time, along with guidance and referrals to trusted professionals such as lactation consultants, physiotherapists, chiropractors, or osteopaths, where appropriate. Families can also be connected with additional support, such as night nurses or postpartum doulas, if needed.
This meeting offers a soft closure to the formal support journey, while ongoing connection, questions, and updates are always welcome.
If you would like to find out whether this support is the right fit for you, you are welcome to reach out or book a free consultation.
